What are some aftermarket mods for the Gallardo?

Any CF aero pieces out for it?
Exhaust?
Scissor doors?
etc?

Sports exaust

Recently visited Lamborghini in Beverly Hills and one of the Gallardos had a modified exaust system and the sound was very impressive. Counld anyone help point me in the right direction to companies that make sports exaust modifications for the Gallardo.

I've checked out the Larinisystems and submitted a request but have not received any reply yet. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, I've gotten around to sending Koenig Special an e-mail requesting for information and will probably try to contact Tubi Style later, if anybody is interested, I will post my findings later.

Thanks again.

I believe my dad just bought the car you saw!!! Was it metallic orange?? He just bought an Met. Orange/Black gallardo from Plantnium Motors in Beverly Hills with an aftermarket exhaust on it!! We do not know the brand of it, but I will look at it when the car arrives here in FL (Wed.).

That's funny, the orange on black Gallardo that we finally purchased has just arrived from the East coast and your's is being delivered the other way around. (We live in CA). Just out of curiosity, how much premium did your father pay?

By the way, nice 996!

You guys are lucky, we saw that one and the guy from Platinum wanted an extra 15K for the car and would not take any orders, we then made an order in NY then finally through a post on this forum found Symbolic motors and is taking delivery as soon as the car is preped.

We also have a Cayenne Turbo at home which my father took delivery through the European delivery program, it's really fast but talk about pigs, it's probably an elephant compared to your 996 turbo.

Since you're new here, I'm sure you will find lot's of interesting things in these forums including a huge section on 996's. Enjoy yourself.

Re: What are some aftermarket mods for the Gallardo?

My friend just bought a yellow/2-tone yel/blk from Platinum BH. We heard aftermarket exhaust system on a yellow Gallardo in their garage. They said it was a $5k option and saves 60 lbs off the OEM exhaust. Hard to believe it saves that much weight over the OEM!
I will try to find out who the manu is and other specs.

Re: What are some aftermarket mods for the Gallardo?

Platinum seems to have some vendor to make afte rmarket exhausts. When I bought my Murcielago 18 months ago, they also offered original exhaut system but I DIDN'T TAKE it.

Just met with my friends sales guy at Platinum Motors in Beverly Hills about their aftermarket exhaust for the Gallardo.
It's their own fabrication/label cat-back exhaust, estimate weight saving over OEM exhaust is 58lbs, sounds awesome (listened to it again in the show room), more free flowing, not sure on the power gains (no dyno numbers yet) but definitely there is some. He mentioned that they did a test against a stock gallardo and from 80 to 140 (both in same gear), at the end, the aftermarket exhaust gallardo was 3 car lengths ahead.
They didn't have any literature on it though.
No difference visually, still maintains OEM tips/covers.
