Headlight intake vent
some one posted about the headlight intake vents, and i was considering purchasing one, but i worry about when it rains, water getting into my filter, would hydrolocking my engine be something i needed to worry about with one of these or not?

Re: Headlight intake vent
I would imagine there is a possibility that can happen (hydrolock)... rain can easily enter in that vent if you are at high speeds... imagine hitting a huge puddle!

Re: Headlight intake vent
well its said that the intake that are on the FC rx-7's and som corvettes(maybe other cars I just known of those two) it goes right up to where the hood closes and takes in air, and at highway speeds it is very possible to get rain in there, although you wont get enough to do damage as long as you aren't going full throttle(this pulls more air) so I don't think you need to worry
