Smile Replacing fuel pump/sending unit- 2000, S-10,2.2

How hard is it for a novice to remove the fuel tank , & replace a bad pump? I know there are relays & sensors involved as this is a flexpump..

Really way ahead to take off the bed. Six bolts, ground strap, unplug tail lamp harness and lift off. Three or four people can lift it easy. Two in a pinch. Sit on frame and work on pump. Bad part is buying that lump of gold fuel pump assy.
