Halogen Lightbulbs for Focus ZX3

I want to install halogen lights into my Focus, but the last pair I bought burned out my wiring and cost me over $200 to fix. I'm tempted to buy EuroDezigns Halogen lightbulbs because sellers on ebay claim they won't burn out the wirings. But I'm a little cautious. Anyone tried using EuroDezigns on their ZX3? If not, any other brand you know of that won't burn out the wiring? Thanks
