Master Clutch Cylinder
I need to replace my master cylinder and am looking for instructions, help or advice. I tried vfaq and didn't find anything. I want to know the proper way to remove the master clutch cylinder and install the new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This swap would be on a 2g eclipse gst. Thanks in advance.

Re: Master Clutch Cylinder
IF any site had it online it wouldbe www.taboospeedshop.com, but I dont think they do. At any rate its not too bad. The tough part is getting that hard line flare fitting off. Be sure to use an appropriate wrench to avoid banjaxing the hex on it. Line/fitting wrench is best, but then its hard to get enough room to swing it. Remove the actuator rod that comes from the clutch pedal. There should be one bolt and one nut/stud holding theunit in. Thats about all I can say. Be sure to bleed properly when you are done.

No, I don't have a shop manual
its been on my list of things to get. What is a name of a good one, I will try and pick one up today. This is something you could get from an autoparts store, right?
