I am taking my sohc vtec motor out and putting ina b16 dohc vtec motor from a 00' civic si. The motor originally was in a 94 hatchback. It comes with axles motor mounts, ecu and the wiring harness. I want to know will it be a straight drop in? It should be the same as the eg civic right? Will I encounter any problems with the del sol other than wiring? The motor mounts should line up right? Thanks, c

Please search next time - that's what the search button is for. This is a very common topic in the Del Sol board and gets asked just about every week.
But a friendly side note: if your Del Sol is an automatic you will have to cut the mount over the transmission and weld on the B series mount since they're not located in the same place. Otherwise the B16 should fit right in. And you may want to get the VTEC dual-core radiator. Here's a general parts list: http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/Swap%20Part%20List.htm

Re: help on honda del sol b16 swap
I'm thinkin if you're asking questions that basic this early on, find someone who really knows their stuff to do it for you.... just a thought.
