Hey. I just recently put some wider tires on the back of my 71 Nova so i know what you are askin. the biggest rim your gonna be able to fit under there is thr 15x8. I have a set of 15x8 corvette rims on the back of my nova, with a set of 60's for tires, and i cant even get a finger in between the tire and fender, and i had to put some air shocks on the back to keep the tire from hittin the fender everytime i went over a bump. i hope this helps

Re: 71 Nova, what wheel size?
ooooo....those 19's fit nicely
. But as for the 15x8 vette rims, they're about 4 inches in, and out. You could order a set of 15x8's with about 5 inches of backspace. But a lot depends on what tire you'll be using. If it's a 26x9 inch slick, the 15x8 with 5 inch backspace should be fine. But a 26x10 would be really tight and may even rub.

Re: 71 Nova, what wheel size?
FOR A 15X8 WHEEL YOU WILL HAVE TO USE 4.5"BS

Re: 71 Nova, what wheel size?
If you have a stock width rear, you'll want to run a 15 x 8 rim with 4.5" BS. I run a 275/60/15 on the street and a 28 x 11.5" M/T ET Street (actual measurements are 27.5 x 8.9) on the track and they fit great and don't rub (you will want to roll the quarter lips).
