Information on 2.4 swap into 97 cavy
I have a 97 z22 and i am going to swap in a 2.4 twin cam i was wondering if there was anything i would need for this swap and would my cold air intake and headers still fit to this engine

whats a z22? but no your CAI and headers will not fit the LD9 since it is a different engine. Your going to need the motor and all the parts on it, ecm and so on.

z 22 has just the 2.2 120 horsepower would my transmission still work with the 2.4

Your Tranny
Your transmission would NOT work. Your car has a 3 speed transmission, The Z-24 cav. has a 4 speed transmission. Everything is different, honostly the swap is stupid.. you only get another 20 hp. and your gonna invest way too much into it. a cold air intake, headers, ignition pack, high flow injecters and fuel rail and a few tweaks here n there, would give u just as much power for half the money and it would look pimp. u got half that shit, dont' go swappin and buyin new, 2.4's have sum probs when u drop em in. i've seen 3 unsuccessfull attemps. everything must be changed.. its pointless
