Power Antenna/stereo problem
I just installed my deck into my 96 prelude.. My problem is that everytime that I want to change the CD, i eject it and the antenna goes down.(deck shuts off). The only way to avoid this problem is to switch to the radio before changing cds. pain in the ass.. anyone know how I can fix it without removing the fuse?
Thanks |

Re: Power Antenna/stereo problem
well u cant get around that, u can possibly hook up the antenna line to a remote line or a line wiht a switch so u can turn it on when you want to.
i hate decks that do that. i mean u can disconnect it, and leave it down...but u will sacrafice reception i think.

Re: Power Antenna/stereo problem
I think you just need to run a switch for your antennae from a 12v source (I.E. car battery) and run a line to the antennae line at the back of your head unit disconecting it from the head unit... should work fine..
