Vehicle is 1990 Buick Park Avenue with approx. 125K+
Front wheel Drive Wow Wow sound synched with wheel speed. Only while vehicle is moving, even at low speed. Shifting to neutral while running does not affect that sound. I could hear it when vehicle was being run on the smog shop "roller" while being tested for the new California Smog (II) check. So it must have something to do with the front wheels/axle/transaxle?/suspension? Seemed less obvious when I rode with another person on the front passenger seat. Anyone experiencing something similar? Any idea? Could it just be wheel balancing or something more serious? Concerned Driver. |
