03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

Course I'm slightly biased. I like the interior cockpit of the Tiburon much better than I like the Celica. The lines of the Celica are nice from the front, but the Tiburon looks nicer from the side. I know I'm comparing two I4 cars here. But I wanted to know what your opinions were.

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

Hard to say...I really dont like the Celica...but the Tiburon is not really supported well by the aftermarket...

Question is...why didnt you get the V6?

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

imo the tiburon is much better, especially better than the 03 celica. i really dont like the new styling of the celica. the tiburon's aftermarket is growing, so that is a good thing.

Call me a snob but i wouldnt drive a Hyundai. What i do like about the Tiburon is the styling, but even that is stolen. so make mine a Celica, thank you

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

My friend just bought a tiburon with veilside and rims put on intake and chip but the car is slow as shit.
My other friend has a 2000 celica and its fast and all he did was put a toyota weight racing kit on it to make it a lot lighter.
So my question is standard or automatic?
If both the same than go for a tiburon because no one has a tiburon, celica is prob the 3 or 4 most seen car at any car club (civic and eclipse).

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

The reason I didn't get the V6 was because the I4 is made out of an cast iron block which is much better for tuning. The aluminum V6 block limits out at 250hp before BOOM.

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

i have always like the celica. my friend had a celica and that was kinda the first thing that made me get into cars. The tiburon is a really great looking car to though. the one thing i didnt like about the tiburon was the oo oo headlights. i know the 6th gen celica was kinda like that but it was much bigger Oo oO and i NEVER see the 6th gen celicas. anywayz back to the 7th gen vs. the tiburon yeah i'd have to go with the celica though the tiburon is just as good.

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

btw We're talking about the 3rd Gen Tiburon not the second. Just to make things clear

97-99: 1st Gen
00-01 Second Gen
03-04: Third Gen

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

The Celica is far too girly for my liking, the Tiburon looks much more masculine.

Give me the Tib, preferably a V6, but the 2.0 will do, I guess........

It's great on mountain passes and for touge. Also for spirited driving. That's just stock. When I'm done with the mods....wow....

Re: 03/04 Hyundai Tiburon vs 03 Celica

I'll take the Hyundai, Celicas are for hairdressers and 40 year old women, I don't care how good the engine is.

Now in reality I'd take a Honda Integra VTi Coupe or maybe the Type R (*Cough* Type S *Cough*) But you wouldn't let me choose one
