And to think that the Hubble was almost a disaster. Without repairs from the shuttle crews, it would never have worked.

WHOA.. those are some amazing pictures. I especially like the dust cloud one thats a lightyear long. It really makes you think.. if God created this universe, why all the empty space for just us? Or is God some two timing cheater and creating life elsewhere. That bastard.

Yep. We as a race are pretty insignificant, and individually, pah!

Those pictures wer awesome, in the best sense of the word! And even though they give you some numbers to put it into perspective... yo just cant. The sizes of those are unfathomable.

Re: Awesome Hubble telescope pics.

thanks a million. WE are Nothing! stuff like that makes me cry. geez.... God can paint.

few people MAY be able to comprehend a light second (186,282 miles/sec), but if anyone says they can comprehend a light minute-they need to be shot.

not to mention...a light hour, day, week...and we are talking about MILLIONS of light YEARS.

most of us know this: what we see now in those pics happened million of years ago, therefore, who the heck knows if they still exist.
