question

i am thinking about shaving my door handles and i just want to know if anyone has seen a celica like that? and does it look good or bad. mine is a 90 gt.

Hmm... Interesting idea, I think that would look pretty nice, but what exactly do you do to open your door? How would you hook up the mechanisms for the handle and locks?

the doors are wired up on a remote system like the remote door locks for most new cars. the original locks are not used because you no longer have any door handles, the door handle mechonism is reconfigured to an actuator that is controlled by the remote system.

i'll have to look into that... then again... it would really suck being caught in the parking lot with a remote that has dead batteries and no other way into the car.. lol you go from pimp to punk in the same amount of time it takes to realize your stuck outa your ride
