LeBaron

I know I probably seem like a jackass for not knowing but I have a 1988 LeBaron 4 cyl. 2.5 L engine. It's my first manuel car and was wondering at what rpm should I be shifting. I nrmally shift at about 2500 to 3000 but it seems like the car is going really slow.
