92 Civic Change Rear Speakers
Hi Guys,
I want to replace the rear speakers in my 92 Civic. From research on the web, it seems as if I can do all this from the trunk. Take out a few nuts, drop the speaker out from below, and put in new ones. When I went to a installation shop today, the dude told me that he would have to take out the backseat to do this. This doesn't seem to be the case... Anyone know about this? Please advise. Thanks! |

Re: 92 Civic Change Rear Speakers
no the seat doesn't have to come out, but the speakers don't drop from the bottom either, the three screws come out from the bottom, then the grill comes off. then the speaker is removable from the top.

Re: 92 Civic Change Rear Speakers
I know in my car I have to take the rear deck cover off to get to the screws.. and the speakers come out the top.. but that's for a 99' accord.. Just use your common sense to get this install done.. it's not that hard..
