Rover 620si airbag srs light

Hi m8's been having loads of problems with electrics l8ly had to replace some fuses for the headlights and i have gone through all the fuses checking them 1 by 1.
But now i have got my srs light on all the time, i have read that this can be caused by power to the srs system being dissconnected and that there is a way to reset it by using a jumper and doing somthing with the ignition.
Question is does anyone have the details of how to do this please?

I know how to reset the ecu on a coupe so it might work on the 600's. You basically turn the key to pos 2 and fully push the accelerator (or gas pedal I think you call it in America?) and let it off fully. Do this 5 times within 30 seconds and then tuurn the engine on.

On my old coupe it fixed the dodgy idle speed so you never know, it may fix the srs light.

I know if you pull the fuse on the abs the light comes on as a warning, guess it's the same with srs. Not knocked a wire in the wheel have you?

Goto this link http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl603g.htm and follow the instuctions on there i used a simple toggle switch and 2 wires instead of the special connector it makes it easier to break and reconnect the circuit when needed.
