Re: Which Exhaust

i went with a 5-zigen fireball exhaust.. i was very pleased.. i even read on some other forums that someone had the apexi-n1 and then switched it with the fireball and preferred that one over the n1.. just my take on it.. goodluck

I have a stock 00' ITR exhaust and I love it. Gives the car a real sleeper look

Re: Which Exhaust

i bought it from a guy here in ATL . He has a boosted 00' ITR talk about nice This season I will probably get some vids and pics of some local imports at the drag races.

As for getting a ITR exhaust you can usually find them for sale on www.teamintegra.com from time to time and other places. Do you have a local board where you live? If so then I would try looking there first.

Re: Which Exhaust

ITR is a Type R, you do know what a Type R is right? and whtteg, I have a local board, ill start looking there. I bet that teg is NICE and if you can get vids from local races that would be awsome, i love good videos. Theres a guy around here with custom S/C on a ITR so ill see if he still has his exhaust sittin around, did you notice a big difference over the stock stuff?

I did notice some good gains via the but dyno, but I will not find out for sure until march when Atlanta Dragway opens back up But the mid range and top end seem stronger, and the funny thing is that I don't feel a loss of power in the lower rpm range But that is more than fine with me

Re: Which Exhaust

Hopefully i can find an ITR exhaust relitivly cheap, and then bolt up a DC ceramic header with highflow cat or test pipe, and the ITR cat back, if i could keep the stock look yet still get performance out of it that would be nice. not to mention i dont need another big ass exhaust for my friends to make fun of lol.

Here are some pics of it if you want to see what it looks like compared to a stock LS exhaust. The last pic is of the rear section, notice it looks a little bigger but strill stock looking

I will have to get some better pics when it is nice out.

For my needs YES but for other people's needs I don't know depends on what their needs are. For me I needed a more free flow exhaust, that was quiet and looked stock. It is everything i wanted, it is quiet and it is 2.25" mandrel bent stainless steel (just like all the top name quality exhausts) and it looks pretty close to stock. I am working on getting a .wav file uploaded so you guys can hear what it sounds like.
