Is a 1990 Prelude with 190k mileage that cost $800 worth it? Dunno if it has VTEC or not. When was VTEC invented?

i mean sure if u want a prelude that bad. 190K is a lot of miles even for a honda. VTEC wasnt avaible in the prelude until 93 so it is not a vtec engine best to hope for is thats its a 2.0 SI. i mean sure u can buy it but think hard about what u want it for. if ur thinkion performance find one iwt less miles or u could do an engine swap. its up to you 800 isnt a lot of money but u need to decide what u want the car for.

The older gen preludes are wonderful daily drivers. I love them. And although they don't have as much power or aftermarket parts as their 4th and 5th gen brothers, the 2nd and 3rd gen are still formidable racers back in their time.

$800 is pricey for that many miles and that old of a year car. Maybe $500.
