is it just me or does everyone...

Is it just me or does everyone buy models when they dont need one. I forget the word but oah well. Within the last 3 days I got a tamiya skyline and ANOTHER ITR. And i still have a Sox and Martin GTX, a Datsun 510, 1:18 scale Mustang, 32 Highboy and 1 or 2 dodge supers sports. Oah man, I should build all these before I get more.

Oh yeah! None of us know how to exercise control!
But then I think it is part of our hobby! Everyone does it!
It's not our fault, but the pressures of work/DIY/Kids or life stopping us doing what we should be doing! Modelling!

As long as you don't half start them, it isn't a bad thing a they eventually become valuable!

........oops haha. I started 1 Super Sport, mustang, 1 ITR, the datsun, the highboy. So yea....I am planning on finishing my ITR then doing the datsun and then find time for the others. I dont build models too much though. Only when i get the "urge". But this board is so cool. I can actually talk to other people who do models. I tell people that I build model cars and i always get this funny look but oah well.

I like the buzz of buying a new kit and being one of the first to make it if its new in town.

Most times i'll buy a kit when there are sales etc.
Mostly buy a kit at the time because i have some spare money that i may not have next time i go to the model shop.

I can't stop buying the fricking things. I have an order of about 6 kits waiting to be shipped from HLJ right now and I have 7 or so sitting in my closet not to mention the 3 on the go now. I'd like to say I won't buy any more kits until I finish the ones I have but does anyone believe it?

I have actually been very good about not buying any new kits in a while. It helps when you don't have any money. But, I still go visit them at the hobby store.

that is the new version of the FD3S by fujimi I think.. it's actually pretty close to real... but avoid the eairly version FD3S by fujimi kit.. it's a remake of the A-spec kit... although the A-Spec was done not bad.. details are fairly close.

if you want the eairly FD3S kit... (like modifying it to Initial D's black FD, or the Stage 1 yellow RedSuns model--->turbo86), buy the Tamiya FD3S then modify that...
