97 Camry LE Remote entry Programming
Can anyone confirm the instructions on programming a remote entry for this vehicle? Ive looked all over the web and cannot find the instructions for this. Ive seen some for other years that talk about opening and closing doors and unlocking and locking, and others using jumpers in the wires behind the power mirror control. Noboby replies what the correct way to do this is, and if they really worked. Can somebody PLEASE POST A REPLY the correct way to do it?

do you have any information on programming for a 98 camry xle? i dont know what fcc number it was, because my dealer wont tell me what i need to buy. i have the opportunity to buy a remote, but i dont want to waste the money. how can i find out what remote i need?

Mercy, all you people act as if you'll wither up and die if you don't have a remote (that works). Give me a break! Whatever happened to a KEY? People today are spoiled rotten.
