wasn't there a forum dedicated to S10's with V8's swapped into them?

Re: S10's with V8's

What would you recommend putting in my 1994 S-10? I was thinking of using a 305 ci. I want an engine that has the power to do towing with. Thanks!

I don't know,I just bought a 82 s-10 with a 4 banger and this summer I want to put a v8 in it, I would imagine if you already have a motor use the 305,there's a site called JTR.com and s10v8.com that have tons of info on this stuff, check them out the s10v8 has some really cool video's and pics of all sorts of s10's.good luck.

Talking

JTR manual is worth the money. Just finished puting my motor in and it really gave me an idea of what to expect. Have to run exhaust and mount radiator to be done. I bought it with a 89 Tune Port 305 from a Camaro, loved it but to expensive to rebuild for the cubes and the previous owner really didnt do a clean job installing. I just got through building a 383 stroker with the Elderbrock Vortec Fuel Injection for it. 485-500 HP and 460 pds of torque. lol. Can't wait.

s10v8.com is a pay forum www.v8s10.org is free. I'll agree on buying the swap manual. If you have no idea where to start it will help alot.
