what can be done to max out the 4.6 ohc everything provided will be useful and what will give a 4.6 a mean exhaust sound like a muscle car
whats the cheapest way to drop a 95 tbird with out screwing the car over

Well ill start your quest with an exaust kit.Try and get a Flowmaster exhaust if you want that sound.If you cant get the right size you may be able to use one from a Mustang from the same year.If you have the cash you might be able to use this one http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg...ter/17212.html You could also try and get a centrifugal supercharger from procharger http://www.procharger.com/automotive.shtml

I cut my original exhaust off just after the CATS on the collector pipes and took the whole thing to a muffler shop and they bent two 2.5 pipes to match the original exhaust. I don't have any mufflers, just the two converters right off the manifold. I also bought a K&N filter and cut some holes in the front and fender side of the stock airbox, and added a set of Splitfire plugs.

The filter was about $60, plugs were $40, and exhaust only cost about $115. Also, the exhaust would really snap and blat about 5k RPM, but I put 2 90 degree elbows so the tips burn the mudflaps, so now it starts about 3k. It is loud. Very loud, in fact, but if people don't see you making the noise, they think its a big 4X4.

Anyway, with what I've done, I have noticed a big difference in passing power, and rolling burnouts....

I am not too familier with the thunderbird suspension yet, but I can give you some ideas from my experiance with autocross. This list only applies if you give a damn how you'r car handle.

#1. do not attempt to cut the springs.
#2. Make sure you use a linear rate spring, they arn't as compliant as a progressive rate spring but they work a lot better. I am not sure what spring rate would suite the t-bird best but I have had good experiances with S/T springs(suspension technics, they lowered my 300zx 1.6in).
#3 If you use a stiffer rate spring you will need upgraded struts. I prefer the 5 way adjustable tokico ilumminas but tokico blue or some othe rprformance struts should suffice. Shoxs.com
#5 Make sure to get an alighnmrnt after the car has been lowered.
#6 And if money is no object coilovers would work great.

And my favorite/cheapest way to make power on a naturally asperated car is a methonal/nitromethane injection system. snowperformance.net or build you own system. You just plumb it as if it wher a wet nitrous system.

Sorry for the long wait for a responce but I have been very busy.

Personally I would use my windsheidwasher fluid tank as a tank for the nitromethane mix, For starters I would suggest an 80-20% mix of 87 octane gas to 20%nitromethane. Utilizing an electric fuel pump(75-100PSI), an electric silonoid to control the fuel pump and kerosen injectors (they come in varius flow rates) for a heating salamander,drilled and tapped just after the throttle body. I don't know if you understand this but I hope it helps.

My gal is a 95 4.6, and honestly, the best thing would be if somehow you can get it at around 3000lbs. Taking 600+lbs would be hard, and probably screw up safety, but man, these would be quick quick with the weight off imagine.. THUNDERBIRDIN'bird, good job man, i'd love to do that to my car one day. Give it a mean look to, like the new mercury merauder's.
