Vtec Help
i just bought a 94 integra gsr. the vtec on the car is not working. its like i dont have vtec but the engines a b18c1. i dont know wats wrong. the person i bought it from said that he had did something to the timing or something. i think that might be the problem. i dont know. if anyone know whats wrong i would appreciate the help. thankss

dude, you bought a car where the previous owner, "said that he had did something to the timing or something".
sounds kind of shaddy to me. get more details from the owner on exactly what he did. |

I know nothing about civics, but on an accord if the check engine light is on the vtec will not work. Maybe worth the time to go to a local autoparts store and borrow their code reader. Even a little thing like a VSS or a Thermostat can put your car in "limp mode"

Far left side of your of your engine, right under your valve cover(by the edge), on the header side of the enigne, not the intake manifold side. The diameter is a bit bigger than a quarter, it should'nt be hard to find.
