2005 Dodge Magnum

Dodge has really out done themselves this time. The new viper, great but expected, it has been around for some time now; but the new Magnum is a step, no 5 steps, above its class. there is no other "station wagon" that i can think of that i would ever think about buying, but the Magnum makes me dribble in my pants. it is powered by either a 2.7 ltr V-6 with about 200+ hp, a 3.5 ltr V-6 that has around 250 hp, and, the 5.7 ltr HEMI V-8 pushing out an astonishing 340 hp. the car looks like no other, yet it isnt rediculus like the element and such. it looks like it came right off the track and parked in your driveway. this is a great thing, thank you dodge for making a family car cool.

Re: 2005 Dodge Magnum

c'mon now, it IS still a station wagon. so i would never even look at it like a cool car, err, vehicle. imo its a bulky looking piece. i would rip the engine out and blow it up because it doesnt deserve a hemi, its a station wagon.

The Magnum is one of the best new cars out right now in my opinion. I'd call it a power wagon, not a station wagon. Station wagon's as everybody knows them do not have 340hp Hemi's. I would definetely buy one if I had the money. Plus I love the way it looks. Now if only Dodge would bring out that Charger concept............

Awe comon, the Roadmasters with the LT1's were cool station wagons...Well, the engine anyway, afterall the LT1 can only be beaten by the LS1 right.

I like the old caprice station wagons, those things were awsome so soubtle, get some prefromance upgrades and a quite set of flowmasters and then you've got a pretty sweet sleeper

Re: 2005 Dodge Magnum

C'mon- BMW did an M5 Wagon in the E34 model, Mitsubishi had the Galant VR4 and Libero GT wagons, Volvo have the 850 T5R and newer V70R's, Holden have the LS1 powered SS Station wagon and HSV Mantas, can't forget about the Audi RS6 and Merc-Benz E55 AMG wagons, or the Audi RS4, or the S4 and S6, Nissan have the Stagea with an RB26, Subaru the WRX STi and Legacy GTB, Toyota have turbo Caldinas, Alfa Romeo have the 156 GTA Sportwagon.

The super station wagon is an Oooooooooooooooold segment and there are better super-wagons than the MAgnum, but the MAgnums still a bloody good wagon regardless
