RSX Vs. 4g Hatch

I need your guys' opinions on the following drag race. A kid in a 2002 base model RSX with exhaust (cat back) thinks he can run with my gutted 1989 civic hatch, with a stock B18A1. I feel pretty confident that I could beat him because hes a dumbass and I've heard he cant drive for shit. My friend with a 93 Si hatch raced him and i guess it was close but the RSX started to pull on him. My car is faster than the Si and i even beat my friends 94 Prelude H22. The specs on both cars are as follows:
89 Hatch 02 RSX
140 HP @ 6300rpm 160 HP @6500rpm
121 lb-ft@5200rpm 141 lb-ft @ 4000rpm
6800 Redline 7900 Redline
DOHC non-VTEC DOHC i-VTEC
2090 lbs 2700 lbs
14.92 LBS per HP 16.875 LBS per HP

plus you have to factor in maybe a few extra for his exhaust and maybe intake, but i still believe i have got him easy. What do you guys think? So far pretty much everyone i have asked says i should have him unless i screw up. So assuming we are equal drivers, who should take the race?

Are you kidding?

It's not even close.

If his hatch is just as he says it is, an RSX Type-S will have trouble with his hatch.

Civicalized, just race, find out, and get it over with.

all im saying is that i heard from one of his friends that he ran mid 17's in the car when he should be running high 15's. I have never actually seen him race, but two of my friends tell me he revs hard and pops the clutch losing lots of traction. But we'll see how things turn out...

I just raced that guy last night and i beat him. When we finished, the front of his car was about a foot back from the back of my car. It was pretty tight, he wouldn't believe me that all i had done was an engine swap. We later saw him and all his friends and none of them believed him when he told them i won. Civic: 1 RSX: 0
Note: I am 2 for 2 since i got my swap done. I beat a 1994 H22 Prelude.
