Quentin Tarantino's The Passion

Most likely offensive for Christians, but you gotta find humour in tragedy

Re: Quentin Tarantino's The Passion

Incredibly pissed. Not to mention the Vol. 1 DVD (which contains NO special features) has been pushed back as well.

Re: Quentin Tarantino's The Passion

Yeah, but I already downloaded Vol. 1, so I'm not TOO upset with that. What bugs me the most is that I read the script for the whole thing, vol. 1 and vol. 2, a few months ago. So I already know what happens, I just want to see it.

Yeah, I read it too. But there were so many changes in Vol 1, it still won't spoil too much.

Re: Quentin Tarantino's The Passion

There were so many changes? I thought just the opposite. The only changes I noticed were very minor, such as there were 3 truckers going into her room when she was in a coma, not just one. Another I noticed was she didn't swat the misquito (sp?) in the movie. And another was when Elle Driver was going to kill Beatrix in her sleep, they didn't show the label of Bill's concoction that she had.

I may have seen a later version of the script then you did though...

That video was disturbing. Q.T. is a crazy ass mofo. And its kinda sad that he's almost mocking Gibson's movie that is suppose to be very very serious.

I don't understand the whole controversy around The Passion. 'History' speaks for itself. Calling it anti-Semitic is as ridiculous as calling any WW2 film anti-Nazi. Actions speak for itself.

Very true. And Gibson was very determined at making this movie as "historical" as he possibly could. Unfortunately, people have to bitch about everything. And get offended if someone doesn't scratch their back in the right spot.
