'98 Twin Turbo Camaro SS for sale
I am selling my Camaro. Here are the specs:
'98 Camaro SS #210, silver, hard-top, super-low miles: approx 47,000 6-speed - stock transmission. Needs new 5th gear synchro. Chrome ZR1 wheels with Nitto 555's up front and 555R's in back. Mods: Incon Stage 1 twin turbo kit - Garrett ball-bearing turbos with twin intercoolers Cartek bronze clutch w/ upgraded hydraulics Moser 12-bolt rear with 3.42 gear, ABS and traction control 36lb injectors Upgraded valvesprings NGK TR55 plugs, Taylor wires Upgraded in-tank fuel pump with adjustable fuel pressure regulator LS6 intake B&M Ripper shifter LS1-Edit tuning by Modern Musclecar Technologies A-pillar guage pod with fuel pressure and boost gauges Harlan shift light mounted inside A/C vent Suspension: BMR lower control arms BMR strut tower brace BMR subframe connectors BMR driveshaft loop BMR adjustable torque arm Stereo: Clarion in-dash CD player, Polk Audio speakers in the 4 corners and a 10 inch sub in a JL StealthBox. 2 amps. I'm sure there are more mods that I'm forgetting. There are a few cosmetic things done (red brake calipers, "Turbo" badge, custom SS plaque in cockpit). The car currently runs a measley 4.5 lbs of boost and at that setting, made 458 rwhp and 468 rwtq about 2 months back. It made over 500 on a dyno pull once by upping the boost but I have never driven it that way. I imagine at 7 lbs it would make well over 500 now. The car has only been to the track a couple times. It went 12.1 @ 118 on Nittos and 11.95 @ 119 w/ 1.85 60' on small ET streets, which was actually my first pass in the car. I made 2 or 3 more 12.1-12.3 second runs hard on the brakes to avoid 11's. I haven't been able to get back to the track but I'm SURE it has a great deal more in it, given more practice or a better driver. That 11.95 was on 4.5 lbs of boost and 3720 race weight (including driver and stereo). It's heavy because it's primarily a street car, nothing has been stripped from it. This car is ready to have serious engine mods done if desired, or you can leave it as it is and enjoy an extremely drivable high-performance car. It behaves like stock until you press the gas. Boost builds very quickly and the power just gets greater the longer you hold the pedal down. Fuel Economy is virtually stock: averages 20 mpg with around-town driving and some freeway. Stay on the freeway and it will do 25+ mpg. The car is extremely clean; could use some slight paint work on the front nose but it's not noticable. Looks like new other than that. Asking $20K. At that price I feel that the car is a very good value. It's in excellent shape with twin turbos (which are very difficult to come by for an LS1) and already has a 12-bolt and suspension mods. I would guess it has about $19K worth of mods (and labor at Cartek in NJ). The stereo is pretty good. If you put a muffler back on this car (doesn't really need one thanks to the turbos) it is quiet as a mouse and a complete sleeper. If you buy for my asking price I will include 2 extra rims with ET Streets (barely used) and my helmet. Email [email protected] or call 214-679-4389 if interested. You can find a few pics in my ad on AutoTrader . Thanks, Ty

Re: '98 Twin Turbo Camaro SS for sale
I remember when you had this car built with the turbos on SLP's board. I miss that board alot...
I'm sorry to hear that you have to sell it though...
