OK I’m all searched out and was hoping anyone on this forum could help me. I’m new to this EFI stuff. Here’s my problem I have a 94 ¾ ton suburban with a 454 and L80E auto. I am currently looking at rebuilding my tired 7.4. But if I spend the time to rebuild it, it’s not going to be stock. I have searched forum after forum and still haven’t found the answers I have been looking for.
Here’s a list of what I’d like to do. Install a Lunati #50266LUN Roller Cam. Has 114 LS 226/236 duration @ .050. and 554/575 valve lift. Comp. Cams Roller-Tip Rockers. #1411 Comp Cams new Beehive valve spings #26120 Edelbrock TES headers. #6661 with better exhaust. Shift kit. I would also like to up-grade the ECM to a programmable unit, but haven’t found a unit that will handle the L80E. Does anyone know of an ECM that will work with the 94-95 model years, or a combination that can be piggybacked together? A new MPFI unit would also be nice but not impressed with Edelbrock Conversion. Not very tunable. Any Ideas? Please any info would be great. Dave |

Not sure where you're located...
In Baton Rouge there is a chip programmer, McKinney Speed Shop (225) 275-4191. He could probably help you via snail mail to program your prom, or know of someone closer to you that can help. Good Luck! |
