Disable horn chirp on C5?

Can anyone give me information on how to disable the horn chirp when the alarm is armed? I'm using the standard GM keyless entry remote that came with the vehicle (2001 convertible).

it's it the options menu of the DIC under the alarm settings. You can select horn only, lights only, or horn and lights on arm. if you choose lights only it will stop chirping when you lock the car
