Hey Guys,
I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the accuracy of the Outside Air Sensor. It seems that whatever the actual temp is, my I30 says it is 10 F warmer. I don't recall it being over 100F in NY this past summer, but my I30 displayed it a couple of times. Anybody have this problem? Thanks for your comments. |

There is no calibration for outside{ambient} tem. reading. It is mounted in front of the rad. This temp. sensors specific purpose is to provide ambient temp.reading for the ac/heater control unit.It uses this sensor together with in car temp. sensor and evaporator temp.sensor to determine heater output temp.Because of it's location{rad}it will pickup some extra degrees from radiator.Therefor it cannot be used as an accurate "outside temp.".
