1997 4x4 Front Wheel Bearings

Hi All
My front wheel bearings are wearing out. Has anyone swapped theirs out? It doesnt seem to hard to do ( other than forking over $500 )
Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks Vlad

Re: 1997 4x4 Front Wheel Bearings

You can do it. Hardest part is finding a socket to take off the axle nuts. Other than that its just taking everything apart to get them off. Long job, but will save lots of labor cost. Don't forget to get the front aligned when you done. Oh, and something else you may need is a ball joint spreader, the ball joints and the tie rod ends can be a pain to seperate.
