where'd you learn?
i just switched from a van to a sports coupe...
i've tried drag racing a lil...and i plain suck... where did you learn to do it properly?

Go out to an empty interstate at non-peak hours. Or a very large parking lot to practice launches.
Here in ND, we have a huge stretch of straight, flat highway that nobody uses anymore, not since they opened up the two main ones. No cops are around, no people drive on it. Perfect. Launches are what you should practice, high speed shifting is simple. The first three gears will pretty much be most of your race. But, it is best to get used to your car before you think about racing. As always, stay safe. |

I learned that on my H23 Motor not to floor it in frist unless you have LSD becaue all you are goin to do is Spin frist gear and you are done. I get about half or more i don't really know. Just pratice that is all you can do. No one can tell you how to drive your car its what you make of it and how you make it get off the line and win.
