94 maxima se/hp

I drive a 94 maxima se and i luv it it's my second one. One thing puzzles me to this day? how much hp does my car put out stock? i'd like to know before i install performance upgrades. also i called a performance shop about a stillen intake and they said i should get a iceman or have one cutom fabricted because he said stillen sucks and it would be cheaper anyway. Now it's to my understanding that stillen specializes in maximas so i'm a little confused now. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out so that my maxima can get the the best possible parts for it's well being.

The VE30DE puts out 190@5600rpm. In 94 there was also a VG30DE which put out 160@5200rpm. As for the intake, a lot of people consider Stillen to be over-priced. A lot of people have also had bad experiences with their customer service. The performance shop you talked to may have been one of those people who have had bad experiences with them and thus don't really support their products. Personally, I have had both good and bad experiences with them. Stillen is very pricey so you might be better off seeking a different intake system.
