Thumbs down Srs light and leaky trunk!

First problem: My SRS light came on a few months ago for no reason. At first all I had to do was turn the car off and turn it back on and the light would go out, but now it constantly stays on. It sometimes dims when I press the gas, so I am not sure what, if any, that has to do with anything.

Second problem: My trunk has started leaking a good bit, but just on the left side. Should I just replace the stripping even though there are no cracks or tears that I can see. Or might I have a different problem.
