Floor Mats?

Hi All,

I have an 04 Passat Wagon and was wondering if the floor mat fasteners in the rear are installed in the foot wells as well as in the front or are only in the mats?
Because, my rear mats fasteners are not installed. Do these cars come with installed one or do you have to drill the holes?

Can't say for certain, but my 99 Passat Sedan doesn't have them in the rear seat footwells.

My 03 also does not have them. The Jetta's have them. Other 04 Passats also don't have them. When I asked, VW said that can install them for $40. I purchased them for $1 each. They look like plastic screws. I don't think they will hold up.
