Timing?

Me and my friend were wanting to check the timing in his b18a1 Crx. We have a timing light and we were wondering were is the notch or whatever located to shine the light onto. we know it is somewhere near the timing belt, but we cant see it.

Hook up the timing light and point it at the crank pulley. The timing marks are on there. There should be two white and one red mark close together and another white mark by itself.
