Front Turn Signal Bulb

I have a '99 honda civic hatch and my front right turn signal went out. I tried to take the headlight off the front bumper but I had no success with it. The 2 screws on top of the headlight were taken off but I have no idea on how to get the headlight off the bumper. It seemed as if those were the only 2 screws needed to be taken off. It was cold outside so I gave up. So, If anyone can tell me how to replace the front turn signal bulbs I would appreciate it. Thanks

Re: Front Turn Signal Bulb

You must remove the front bumper in order to remove the headlight assy. 2 bolts top//2 bolts bottom.

No need to do that for a turn signal bulb

Instead of doing all that, do what your car manual recommends. Works for me when I've done it. Just turn the wheels the OPPOSITE direction of the side the bulb is out on. Then remove the clip that holds the plastic fender liner to the fender, pull it back and it'll expose the blinker bulb harness of which you can turn and twist out of the headlight housing, remove the burnt bulb, put in a new one and reclip the fender liner back up. No tools nessacery except for a flathead screw driver to help carefully remove the plastic clip.

ALL bulbs on the car are made to be changed withlittle to no tools nessacery exception of the trunk lid mounted bulbs. But blinkers and such, only one if any tool is required to change them, no bumper removals nessacery. This is for ease of replacement say if you need to change it on the side of the road.
