Don't you just love it when you work with people who think they are above you? We are here to do a job right? I just love some of the people I work with who have to talk to me like I am in the fourth grade and explain things to me the way you would explain things to your child. Well let's see...I've been at this job 9 years now..been here since I turned 18. I know how to work the copy and fax machine, hey and I can even tie my own shoes...WOW.

Well I realize everyone has their way of doing things. Some people like their copies stapled, some don't. And everyone has their preferences on how their stuff gets done. But instead of talking to me like I am my age and saying, "Hey next time you do this for me, could you please do do it this way next time? Thanks" they say "No no, dear, this is how we do it....ok sweetie? If you need me to remind you next time I will be happy to do so." UGH!!!! makes me wanna:

When faced with this situation, I always ask them right there in their face, "Exactly how old do you think I am?" Of course I don't recommend you do this, as it may result in your dismissal, but being the smartarse I am, it kinda gives them the idea that I know what the fuck I'm doing and don't need your input unless I expressly ask for it. Hope it gives you some perspective.

Sympathise completely...I'm getting waay too old for this shieet,I had to retrain for a new data entry/performance tracking program..........The man-cub who was trying to teach me was reading from the help files he'd printed out...................I flipped up the onscreen version and contradicted him a couple of times,he tried the ultra- patronising approach,that didn't cut any ice with me.When he tried to pull rank,it backfired on him and his boss now sees him for what he is.............

Whoops,sorry,your rant not mine...............If I win the lottery I might just buy a Humvee and drive it through the admin. block a few times.............after hours of course
