Re: Lude vs Civic

I would say A 2000 si because they have more technology than an old school integra. It also depends on the mods

thats because your civics turbocharged. I think the prelude would win cause of all that extra torque.

Re: Lude vs Civic

I pull on my friends H22 lude until he hits 4th gear, then he's just gone.... I just have a lil d16z. I personally think that the motor is the only thing worth anything with Preludes

Re: Lude vs Civic

Prelude would kill. The numbers dont lie. But untill tyhe higher gears (3-5th) it would be even. After that the Civic would be pulled on.

Re: Lude vs Civic

i'm a newbie race driver. in other words...when it comes to drag racing, i suck. with my stock lude i've taken a moderately moded probe (i/h/e/ecu/ignition), and an anonymous maxima.

its usually head-to-head until i hit 3rd, and thats probably cuz i spin the hell out of my tires in 1st, i granny shift, and i'm too busy looking in my rear view mirror so imagine when i actually learn to do it right...

Re: Lude vs Civic

my friend insists that i "power shift" which just means i hit both the accelerator and clutch at the same time while i shift...i just love my car too much to actually do it. ... plus i still owe 59 payments

I have people tell me I should "power shift" all the time too. Dont listen to those kinds of people. They're dumb and dont know anything. This so called power-shift will lead to a very short tranny life. Plus it just sounds dumb as hell to rev way up in the middle of a shift.
