2002 9-3 convertible
I'm thinking of getting a Saab convertible, but I just don't like the new one as much as the origional. Must be the headlights. What are everyones thoughts on the reliability of a slightly used 9-3?

You don't like the new one? :o You must be absolutely crazy! I've even read dozens of comparison tests where they've tested the 9-3 convertible against the A4, and the 9-3 has won the test often!
The reliability of Saabs are very good, no question. The only thing you should be aware of is that the chassis is very soggy and soft.. But lovely to look at!

My 2000 9-3 Convertible engine BLEW UP!
Car is a piece of crap now that GM owns it! My engine blew at 34,000 miles - blew up like a bomb. It was properly maintained... GM is using a cheap, crummy 4 cylinder engine in it now and it is under too much pressure from the turbo. Find an old Saab made exclusively by SAAB!
