Magnetic bra

Since I trashed my Nissan Nose mask the second time I was out four wheeling I needed something to protect the paint on the hood of the truck. I had one of these magnetic bras on my Porsche and it worked great, even up to 155mph! So if you hate what bug deflectors do to your spray from your windshield wiper nozzles this is a good alternative for $40.00!

Do you have any other pics?
Maybe from far away so you can see how it looks on the whole truck?

Magnetic bra.... reminds me of this one girl I dated in High School. She.., well never mind.

What do bug deflectors do to the windshield wiper nozzles? I have a deflector and don't have any problems..

Thanks I just wanted some other angles to get an idea how it looks on the truck.

Looks good.

I'm thinking about getting some vinly molding for the lower panels on the side of my X.

I have a guy that can get stuff done cheaply so might be decorating the X some more

Here is a pic of his Disco:

The stuff on the side is the vinyl stuff I'm talking about.
I would do something different than this but you get the idea.

Decal or stick-on?

Rhombus is that a permanent decal or a stick on on the Disco?

I am thinking of painting my rocker panels with POR-15 Black from the rear of the front wheel to front of the rear wheel. With all the rocks kicked up and the durability of POR-15 it would look nice.

It is not permanent and that is the great thing about it.
It will add protection and make the X look different than most.

I painted my rockers (just with rust paint) because I found that it looked much better. I have only heard good stuff about POR-15 but is it expensive? Rush Paint is cheap and easy to touch up.

I have the starter kit right now but would probably need more to do the rockers. I have used some on other projects and the stuff is fantastic.

Rickster, how about a link to where we can get it? I was looking at that awhile back (forget where) but wanted to see it on an Xterra first. Looks good to me, I'm ready to buy, hook me up with the linkage bro!

I bought it on Evil Ebay! I got it for $10.00 less than his retail store price which is $44.95. Right now he auctions going but not for the X.

His Ebay name is monsoon.rhl

looks cool. did you also put some rubber trim around the edges? was the hood chipped or chafed from the bra? it seems those things are more hassle than their worth.

also, is that a rubbermaid trash can in the background? is that where the old bra went?
