What do you think. Will the world end due to an ice age or will it burn up into a baren waste land?

what is it with you and the apocalypse? lol, it seems ur excited about it!! you won't be around to care what happens to the earth. but my theory is it will end just like i think the dinosaurs ended, a meteor.

i think that eventually the whole world will somehow contract aids. then our life spans will dramatically derease to the point that we are almost like flys are now.live just long enough to breed and thats it. that will be our number one purpose in life is procreation. this will eventually spiral out of control and the human race will regress into primitave man. just as everything else involves circles so does our existance. for example when you are born you are dependant on society for survival. then you grow up become independant and take care of dependants. then you grow old and someone has to take care of you again. the geometry of life is a circle. its 360 degrees of progression and regression and if your lucky you'll become senial at the age of 25 and others will be forced to take care of you.

I am taking a Physics class and the professor said he would tell us at the end of the semester wether the world will end in fire or ice, according to physics. So I was just wondering what you all thought.

Both, if humans go the way they are going now they will evendually(sp) either blow up in a global war or green house themselves out, then the sun will be blocked out either way and the earth will be frozen again, this time long enough to kill off the rest of the life on it.

I believe its supposed to be something like in 4 billion years the sun will burn out, of course that would lead to everyone freezing to death and mass hysteria so if I had to pick one I say "ice". But who the hell cares I'll be long gone by than.

Before the sun burns out it will expand encompassing an area including the Earth so in that sense it will be fire. But yeah I BELIEVE I won't be around then so it doesn't matter to me.
