Question Question about rims

Hey guys,

I have a 1994 3000GT VR4 with the stock 17 x 8.5 rims. I found a website http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com.

My first question is has anyone ever done business with them?

They have wheel and tire combo deals where you get 4 rims and 4 tires starting at $779. A couple of the tire names are Wanli and Kumho.

Have any of you heard or used these tires?

One last question...Is it alright to put a 245 45 r17 on a 7.5 inch wide rim? Can/will this cause any problems for the VR4?

Thanks guys,
Ottopylot

I can't say that I've ever done business with discount wheel warehouse them before.

As to the 245s fiting on 7.5 inch rim, you can do it but its not going to be a great look and it'll effect your handling.

Do not, I repeat, Do not get rims that are skinnyer than stock. It just doesnt make sence. Wide tire and skinny rim = good ride, bad handling.
