HELP!!! Idle problems 96 Ram2500

Hi there, if ANYONE can help me find the problem with my truck, I'll be forever greatful!!! I am having idle problems. It idles high then low, then high then low, it's ranging, then stalls eventually. If it's not doing that, it's idle really high, racing I guess you would call it. We have done a complete tune up, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, idle control censor, its been on the computer to check for codes and other things five times in the past month, and it's been to five different mechanics. NO ONE can figure out what the problem is. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If you have any advice, please email me at [email protected]

It could be the hall effect sensor in the distributor.
