Re: 5.3vsHemi?

Four wheel drive or two? (weight makes a big difference). Anyway, I have a four wheel drive 02' 5.3 with K&N filter, hypertech programmer, 3.73's, and hypertech 160 powerstat and the hemi got me by a half-car length. Keep in mind even though I had after market parts, I also had alot of extra weight from the 4-wheel drive. Good Luck

Re: 5.3vsHemi?

I'm still waiting for a hemi to pull up, I would love to have a shot at one of those hemi. I'm drive a 2000 silverado, with intake , header, exhaust, and supercharger, yeah I know my truck is heavy thats why I like a shot at a hemi. Personaly I would have to say stock vs stock a hemi would have taken it by atleast one car or more.
