00 EX-V6 Trunk Won't Open With Remote... HELP!!

I have two remotes for my 200 Honda Accord EX V6 and neither will open the trunk. I have to use the key and that gets old. Both remotes will unlock and lock the doors, but the trunk will not. Does anyone know what I need to check or what will fix the problem. Both batteries ahve been replaced, so it is something in the trunk itself. Thanks

Well I have recently got in a rear ending and that really f*cked up my lock.. Sometimes your automatic locking system can get jammed or you may just need to completely get a new lock on it. I don't know about going to Honda for this problem, because somehow they seem to f*ck me over everytime, maybe go to a autobody shop and talk to them about what the problem may be! Good luck on that tho!

Yeah I have a similar problem with my remote too. Not both but just one of my remotes. Do this and see if it works.............
When you open come to the car , hit the Door unlock button, then quickly press and hold down the trunk button. See if that works. It does for me.

Try pressing and holding the trunk button. When I first got my '98 EX V6, I would press the trunk button and the alarm would go off. I finally figured out to open the trunk, press the button and hold it down.
