intake question

Can anyone tell me if an 1988 305 tbi intake manifold will bolt onto an 80-84 350 block? Are they the same?

yes and no.

same number of bolts, same location BUT

86-on the 4 bolts around the riser for the 'carb', those bolts no longer are at an extreme angle to a flat plane, instead they are under much less of an angle. you can fit either manifold on the other block by havinga machine shop 'hog out' the holes and create a new flat area for the bolt head.
