Question manual trans?

Does anybody know if there is a company that will make a manual transmission for a 97 GTP? To replace the 4t65e auto trans? If you do let me know, im interested.

No such thing as of now.

There was a thread about a company making one, search clubgp for "manual transmission for W body" or something like that

Re: manual trans?

well My trans has been acting wierd like soft soft shifts and then ill pull over then shut it off and try it again then it would shift fine and then sometimes it will shift hard as hell like its about to cherp the tires. So i called up a buddy of mine that work at dealler ship.. he works on trans, engines all day hes been doing it for 20 years now, well anyways i told him my problem and we talked about it and come to find out the trans pressure soleniod goes bad in these trans. He also said the trans intercepter doesnt help the life of them at all. To be able to fix he said it would talk some time to fix. he also said the parts not to much but its the part of getting to it thats where it costs money. If you dont know what your doing. ill get more info about how to do it it wont be till monday though
