This is really frustrating. Bought an '03 accord DX and had an aftermarket alarm system (with keyless entry) installed. Few weeks back when it got cold, the keyless entry wouldn't work. OK-understand that. However, when I tried to unlock the door with the key itself, it went in the keyhole but wouldn't unlock the door. In other words, I couldn't maually overide the keyless entry system. Took the car to the dealer (they had it for 4 days) and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. They said that the way the door handle/lock is designed, water "funnels" into the keyhole. The thing that really bohters me is that we had dry and not-so-cold (about 31 deg) weather one day and I had the same problem. The dealer rep said he "wouldn't be surprised if the same issue exists with all '03 Accords-regardless if they had the keyless entry or not". I personally think he's blowing smoke up my you know what but I wanted to see if others are experiencing the same or similar problems. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
