Unhappy Fuel Pressure for 84' Impulse

Hello, can anyone give me the fuel pressure reading for the 84' Impulse? I am using the fuel pump off an 84' Impulse for another car and need to know the pressure reading for this pump. It is probably listed in a Service Manual or Chiltons. Thanks for your help.

Re: Fuel Pressure for 84' Impulse

Mauri:
The shop manual specifies four (4) different conditions which I have listed below. The pump should produce at least 35 psig.
I suggest that you verify that it will produce sufficient flow for your new application, or you could end up starving the engine for fuel...

From Workshop Manual 1985 Impulse (JR)

(1) Vacuum hose of the pressure regulator disconnected. (intake manifold side must be plugged)
35.6 psig

(2) Vacuum hose of the pressure regulator connected. (Idle speed = 900 rpm)
28.4 psig

(3) Engine stopped and vacuum hose disconnected.
Less than 28.4 psig

(4) Battery voltage applied directly to V.S.V under condition 2 above.
35.6 psig
